1. 프로그램 목적
가. 글로벌 교육 및 현장실습을 통한 재학생의 실무능력 및 글로벌 역량 강화
나. 도전정신, 현장적응능력, 문화적 포용력, 창의력을 토대로 글로벌 취업기회 발굴

2. 현장실습 수행 기관: Qualcomm Institute (미국 샌디에고 UC샌디에고 캠퍼스 내 소재 (http://www.calit2.net)

3. 프로그램 일정: 2016. 7. 6.(수) ~ 2016. 8. 18.(목) / 총 6주

※ 사정상 일정은 일괄 1주일씩 연기 될 수 있습니다.

※ 비행 스케쥴 및 여유 좌석 등에 따라서 일정은 변동이 있을 수 있습니다.

4. 인턴십 수행 세부 내용 (첨부 파일 참조)
가. 제목 : IoT Platform Development Project at QI, UCSD

나. 요약

The various IoT technologies can be considered to improve the quality of our lives. There is an increase in interest by the healthcare industry to provide new IoT technologies that are helping people to treat illnesses more efficiently and effectively. The goal of this project is to expose students to the health-related IoT systems and explore ways to collect, transmit, and save data. In addition, they will be able to track and visualize the location of moving IoT sensors in real time.

다. 인턴십 프로젝트 개요

The students will be organized into three groups. Each group will consist of one student proficient in data sensing, other two students proficient in data collecting, and the others proficient in data storing.

1) The data sensor team will take responsibility for all hardware-related works, such as calibrating the sensors we consider, testing the communication modules (e.g. Bluetooth, WiFi, and cellular communication), and designing of a new protocol between sensors and mobile stations.

2) The data collection team will develop an App on Android or iOS to communicate with the sensors and the data server. This App will enable the transmission of the various data collected from the locally connected sensors to the central server via wireless communication. Furthermore, this App will support the visualization function to display its moving location and the received data in real time.

3) The data storage team will be saving the received data from all mobile stations and their locations into the database. This data will be displayed on a web browser or can be used later in various ways.

This joint action will be a complex objective that requires close cooperation and coordination amongst the three teams in order for the project to be successful. We will select one best group among three groups based on their products.

라. 필요 Skill

• Data collection and data storage: Students should have above average programing skills, such as C, C++, and Java.

• Data sensor: Students should be familiar with the operation of hardware devices such as Aduino, embedded board, and sensors.

5. 참가 인원 및 대상
가. 참가인원: 최대 15명
나. 대상: 아래 학부 소속 5-8학기 재학생
- 1전공이 전자전기공학부, 컴퓨터공학부, 의용공학과 재학생(주간학생)
- 전자전기공학부: 전자공학전공, 전기에너지공학전공
- 컴퓨터공학부: 컴퓨터공학전공, 게임모바일공학전공
- 의용공학과
다. 기타
1) 8학기 재학생 중 졸업연기생만 가능(2017년 2월 졸업예정자)
2) 방학 중 인턴십 교과목 수강 가능자
3) 2016 LINC특화인력양성사업 참여학생 가산점 부여
라. 지원 불가한 경우
1) 해당 학과(전공)의 전공과목을 12학점 이상 취득하지 않은 자
2) 2016학년도 하계 계절학기 인턴십 성적으로 인정 불가한 자
※ 타 계절학기 과목 수강생 지원 불가(인턴십 교과목과 중복 수강 불가)
3) 제1전공이 LINC 참여학과(전공)가 아닌 자(복수전공 인정 불가)
4) 휴학생, 야간학생, 2016년 8월 졸업예정자
5) 여권 미소지자 -> 여권 소지자만 가능(2016. 6. 30.(목) 기준, 유효기간 6개월 이상

마. 기타 필요사항
1) 개인 노트북

6. 개인부담금: 약 150만원 (숙박비 및 출퇴근 시 교통비가 변동에 따라 정확한 금액은 추후 산출 후 공지 예정)
※ 체류기간 내 식대, 문화탐방비는 개인부담

1) 1차 서류전형(2배수 선발)
- 심사기준: 사업단 참여실적(LINC사업단 마일리지), 학교성적, 어학능력, 자기소개서 등
- 1차 선발자 발표: 2016. 5. 30.(월) 사업단 홈페이지 공고(http://linc.kmu.ac.kr)
2) 2차 면접전형: 2016. 6. 1.(수) 예정

8. 특전
- 해외 인턴십 인증서 발급(Qualcomm Institute 발급)

- 해외 인턴십 이수학점 3학점
